StatLoom Terms of Service
Effective May 5, 2026 - Version 1.0
Plain-language v1 copy. Must be reviewed by counsel.
1. Eligibility
You may use StatLoom if you can form a binding contract under the laws of your state. Athletes under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian provide verifiable consent before any data is shared with coaches or recruiters; see the Parental Consent section.
2. Accounts
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information.
- Keep your credentials confidential.
- Use the product for its intended purpose: legitimate recruiting and athletic development.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that:
- Submit false metrics, transcripts, or video evidence.
- Misrepresent themselves as a coach or recruiter.
- Misuse contact information surfaced by the platform (no harassment, no spam, no resale of contacts).
3. Acceptable use
You will not:
- Scrape, redistribute, or resell athlete data.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass access controls.
- Upload content you do not have rights to share.
- Use automated tools to enumerate profiles or generate fake activity.
4. Content
You retain ownership of content you upload. You grant StatLoom a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content as required to operate the service. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload everything you upload.
5. Subscriptions and payments
StatLoom Pro is a recurring monthly subscription processed by Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. We do not refund partial periods unless required by law. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
6. Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The StatLoom Index is a heuristic and is not a guarantee of athletic outcomes or recruiting results.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatLoom is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware. Disputes are resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association, except either party may bring claims in small claims court.
